When we get into the solution, guided by a loving, caring God of our understanding things work out nicely :-)

And this solution came about because SamsOn19 took responsibility and posed a question...

I just received this email in response:
Tandy,
Thank you for your incredibly thoughtful response to the member who had the question. It was certainly not my intention to cause such concern when I put up my website a while back. I have removed Narcotics Anonymous from the list of selected clients.
Thanks again, and please pass this action on to whomever you feel is appropriate.

I emailed this to Jim DeLizia:
Hey Jim,
It was on my heart to contact you about the concern list above.
Based on the information, may I suggest that you create a 'Friends' or 'Links' page on your deliziaconsultingservices.com website and provide a link to na.org so people can get clear information about Narcotics Anonymous for themselves . On na.org website look for "Public Relations" and "Resources for Professionals."
Thank you for your time and have a positive day!
Sincerely,
Tandy

My name is Tandy and I am an addict.
I am responding as a NA member.

"TW Services Recording & Duplication has no opinion on the issue as we are not a NA business but an outside enterprise."

Thanks for your input Sam! I applaud you for taking responsibility as a NA member :-)
"Each of us has an equal right to and responsibility for the well-being of Narcotics Anonymous." - p. 132 Tradition One, It Works How&Why

Unfortunately, outside enterprises are not obligated to follow NA Traditions.
"It's important to remember that a we as NA members and groups are responsible for observing our Twelve Traditions. The facilities in which we meet do not have this responsibility; neither do other organizations. If it appears that some outside organization or facility is compromising our traditions, we are responsible to discuss their actions with them. While we cannot demand that they change their behavior, a reasonable approach and open discussion will often lead to a mutually satisfactory solutions." - p. 169-170 Tradition Six, It Works How&Why

However, according to Chapter 10 'Internet Technology' in the Narcotics Anonymous PR Handbook it states "Personal sites can also provide links to a local registered site or to na.org."

I looked at the DeLizia Consulting Services website and saw that "Narcotics Anonymous World Services, Inc." is listed on the 'Selected Client List' under 'Philanthropic Organizations, Foundations and Community Action Groups"

First of all, Narcotics Anonymous is not their client.
Second, NA is simply a non profit organization and not a Philanthropic Organization, Foundation, or Community Action Group. So the category in which Narcotics Anonymous is listed under is not a clear description of who we are.
Third, the list on their page do not link to the said organization's websites so people can get the clear information for themselves.

One solution would be to get together with another NA member(s) and communicate with DeLizia Consulting Services guided by a loving, caring God. "For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority-a loving God as He may express Himself in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants; they do not govern." - NA Tradition Two

Please inform me the results of your experience.

Have a positive day!
Call me anytime :-)

I am interested in how DeLizia Consulting can use the NA name in their on line advertising. Isn't this a clear violation of the 6th Tradition? “A NA group ought never endorse, finance, or lend the NA name to any related facility or outside enterprise, lest problems of money, property and prestige divert us from our primary purpose.”
