12 Step Recovery Podcasts –

We are very proud to announce a great new feature of 12 Step Recovery. Podcasts! We will now be featuring guest speakers from different fellowships on our 12 Step Recovery Podcast Feed located on the right column of the site. You can also find the 12 Step Recovery channel on iTunes which will update periodically as more AA speakers and NA speakers send us their .mp3s. Other recovery fellowships are welcome to share with the community as well.

What does that mean? We are accepting any and all speaker .mp3s for review at 12 Step Recovery. If you would like to be featured on our Podcast and be of service to this online recovery community, we would be glad to have you. Just send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and make sure to attach YOURSELF speaking in .mp3 format. Please include a note in the email that states that you are allowing 12steprecovery.com to post your tape on our feed as well as our iTunes channel. All tapes will be reviewed before we post them. If you don’t know how to send in .mp3 format or if your tape is in another format, but you can still send it electronically, go ahead and we’ll try and reformat it for you.  If you would like us to put a link to 12 Step Recovery profile, just put your username in the email as well and we’ll give credit where credit’s due. If you don’t have your free 12 Step Recovery Member Profile, then just register free HERE and set it up.

Thank you to everyone so far who has helped make 12 Step Recovery the largest and fastest growing Online 12 Step Community on the web. Remember get on the recovery forums (remember, you must be regitered and logged in to view the forums) and post, write on your free blog, and check out the recovery chat. Let’s get the ball rolling! NA and AA Chat - WOW I love the members here! I hear you loud and clear - you love the 12 step recovery chat room BUT you want more features. I am working on it! I am trying to have the chat not require additional log in and also to let people chat and cruise the site at the same time. Just know - I appreciate your feedback! Hopefuly I can send out a blast next week with the adjustments!

I have a dear friend who is moving to Dubai who asked for a private chat room to have her AA and NA friends meet. I also had a request for a fellowship member who is deployed in Iraq to have a private meeting. Finally, I had a member ask for a chat room for those who speak Spanish. So...these features are working and I am going to explain how all these things can be done now. I will e-mail everyone once the update is here but right now today you can e-mail your friends to meet you in the chat room. They have to be members - you all know that is free. Once you are a member click on the 12 step chat room and create a private room. So... plan a date and time, e-mail your friends, then choose a private chat room name that only your group knows, log in and have an aa or na meeting - or just private chat. It is important that you choose the name ahead of time because that is how people know what to type in. Lastly, we will begin to schedule meetings but we need to finish out the upgrade.
