... I have found myself in a world of trouble here in the last couple of days. I am not new to the program, however, I guess I thought that I was over the recovery process, But low and behold, the thought of using again reared it's ugly head and has slapped me in the face. I am new to the area and don't know how or where to turn for help. I keep telling myself if only I had a way to go, but on the other shoulder, I have the other me telling me if I had a car I will go and find what I need to numb the pain, no matter what that is. I have been sober for three years no, so this is really getting to me. My sponsor is 14 hours away from me now and I know that she will not be able to help me or come to my aid, and help talk me out of it like she used to do. I have not gone to a meeting in a month now, and have no one here to help me, and I fear that it might be too late. dazed and confused. |
