Addiction confined us to a narrow, repetitive cycle of survival: obtaining, using, and finding more drugs. Our potential felt limited, and our lives seemed devoid of possibility. In recovery, however, our vision of ourselves and our future expands. Guided by spiritual principles and supported by the limitless power of our Higher Power, we discover a life filled with opportunities for growth, connection, and fulfillment.
In active addiction, our lives were defined by limitation. Every day was consumed by the same routine, leaving no room for dreams, growth, or change. This cycle shaped how we saw ourselves—trapped, powerless, and unable to break free.
This narrow vision eroded our sense of worth and drained our ability to imagine a brighter future.
Recovery opens our eyes to a world of possibilities. Freed from the constraints of addiction, we begin to see ourselves and our lives in a new light.
Recovery teaches us that our lives are no longer bound by the destructive patterns of the past.
